AN ITALIAN radio boycotts José Mourinho for the “disagreeable and inappropriate” treatment of a journalist.
The Roma manager berated a Retesport reporter for “not being smart at all” following a question at a press conference.

Journalist Marco Juric asked: “It’s been six months since you signed for Roma, would you change everything you’ve done in terms of choices, statements, demands or whatever you’ve done?
Mourinho fired back: “You’re here in pretty much every press conference, but either you’re very smart and you want people to think you’re not, or you’re not smart at all.
“I want to think you’re smart but you like to do what you do.”
Mourinho then rose from his seat and left the room, ending his interview prematurely.
Retesport has released a statement explaining its decision to snub the former boss of Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham.
The broadcaster said: “Retesport, in expressing its solidarity with Marco Juric regarding the unpleasant and inappropriate response received from Mr. José Mourinho in the press room last Saturday, decided to suspend its participation in the press conferences in order to avoid a new exploitation of the questions asked in a polite and completely legitimate manner.

“We wish coach Giallorossi to work harder and harder to increase the fortunes of the team and to focus his attention on possible technical solutions, avoiding spectacular overflows which, at the moment, we consider to be totally inappropriate .
“Always Forza Roma.”
This latest row with Retesport is not the first time the Special One has run into the media, including during his stays in England.
Even last week, the Portuguese coach attacked Norwegian journalist Jan Aage Fjortoft after the 2-2 draw with Bodo / Glimt in the Europa Conference League.
Mourinho took over from Paulo Fonseca at Stadio Olimpico this summer.
After a strong start, Roma’s form has worsened in recent times, losing three of their last five Serie A games.
They currently occupy sixth place in the standings, already 13 points behind leaders Napoli and AC Milan.
And they were stunned by Bodo / Glimt 6-1 in a record-breaking loss for Mourinho in matchweek three before the 2-2 stalemate in Rome.
He blurted out his players after the 3-2 loss to Venezia and has already served a strand suspension following his red card against Napoli.
