First Floor - Henrietta Room
9:00 a.m. start timeRajiv Dewan, N2RD, and his VE Team will conduct amateur examinations at the hamfest site. Examinations start promptly at 9:00 a.m. Walk-ins will be accommodated up to the capacity of the testing facilities. You must be at the testing site prior to test start time in order to complete your paper work. Building doors open at 8:30 a.m.

All you need is your PC or laptop, even from a PDA and you can get on-the-air from almost anywhere! Jim Stefano - W2COP, a ham for over 35 years will demonstrate for you how to do this. You can use Sideband, CW, even PSK31, RTTY and more remotely. In addition, he'll show you how you can control and operate an HF Base from just an HT/2meter mobile while driving around town.
