It has been our desire and policy for many years to help accommodate those individuals with special needs. We are very sensitive to those needs and have gone well beyond all regulations to provide a number of spaces for these needs. The demand for ADA/Handicap parking continues to grow dramatically each year.
Special parking spaces in the regular lot and in an area located directly across from the former main entrance to the Dome Center are reserved for handicap parking. Use the main entrance to the Dome Center on Calkins Road. For access to the handicap areas, show the attendant your state ADA Parking Permit or a doctor's statement. Each person must also show or purchase a Hamfest registration ticket.
Should you have special requirements, such as a wide space for a lift, please indicate your need to an attendant. Oversized vehicles of any type may be restricted to where, how, and if, they may park.
Please note the special lot is now shared for handicap, staff and camper-RV hookup parking. Flea market tailgate operations of any kind are NOT allowed in this lot. There is NO parking fee required. There is a fee for camper-RV'ers utilizing "hook-ups."
