Have you ever wanted to sell one of your amateur radio treasures and thought the hamfest would be the perfect place for that to happen. However, you do not want to be tied down all day at a flea market table trying to sell that treasure. Bring and Buy solves your problem.
Bring your special treasure to the hamfest. Upon your arrival, report to the Bring and Buy center in the main exhibit hall. Complete a two-part ownership tag (one-part stays with the equipment and one for the seller to keep).
A staffer at the Bring and Buy center will attempt to sell your treasure while you enjoy the hamfest. At the end of the day, return to the center and collect the proceeds of the sale. If your item did not sell you get to take your treasure home. There is no service fee for an unsold item.
The details: A maximum of two items may be submitted for sale. You must establish a fixed price. Haggling will not be done on your behalf. 90% of the selling price will be yours to keep. The remaining 10% is retained by the organization for their work on your behalf. Please, no junque or boat anchors.
