Amateur Radio Licensing Courses

Our licensing courses are held at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and consists of 9 weekly sessions. Classes are taught for all 3 license levels: Technician, General, and Amateur Extra using the ARRL License Manuals, which are available for purchase through RARA.
Class space is limited and reservations are highly recommended.

Licensing courses are FREE to current members and only $15.00 for non-members.

Fall 2010 registration is now underway!

Reserve your seat before it's too late. Courses for Technician and General class licenses will commence on September 23rd at 6:30pm and continue every Thursday until November 18th at RIT in rooms 9-1139 and 9-1149. Testing will be held on Saturday November 20th.

Please come to class prepared with paper, pen, a calculator, and your ARRL text book. ~Texts are available on the ARRL website or from your instructor on the first night of class with early registration. To order your text from your instructor, you must register no later than three weeks before classes start.~
